Instruction and Information for Grand Communication

To Most Worshipful Grand Master Andrew Richardson, Elected and Appointed Grand Lodge Officers, Past Grand Masters, Past Grand Lodge Officers, Worshipful Masters, Past Masters, Officers and Brethren,


Greetings Brothers,


Please review the following instructions for Grand Lodge Attire, Past Masters’ Degree and information about the recreational activities for Grand Session taking place July 11th through July 13th in Davenport, IA.


Attire

Grand Lodge Sessions-Black suit, white shirt, black neck or bow tie, white gloves, black socks and black shoes.  Grand Lodge aprons and collars for Grand Lodge officers.  Appropriate aprons and collars for the craft.  The Grand Tiler will be instructed to enforce Masonic Dress code.


Banquet Thursday Evening-White dinner/sport jacket, white shirt, black neck or bow tie, black pants, black socks and black shoes.  Grand lodge officers will wear their collars.


Joint Memorial Service Friday Morning-Black suit, white shirt, black neck or bow tie, black socks, black shoes, white gloves and plain white apron.


Community Service Project Saturday Morning-Grand Session T-shirt with bottoms and shoes of your choice.  Please dress in clothing that will allow you to work in uniform while staying cool outside.


Past Masters’ Degree

The Past Masters’ Degree will be conferred on Thursday at 4:30pm.  All candidates for the degree should be present with their fee of $2.00 payable to the Grand Lodge.


Entertainment and Fellowship

Hospitality will be offered by the host lodge and chapter on Wednesday at 6:00pm till 12:00am; Thursday after the banquet and Friday evening after the host lodge and chapter event.  The Turtle Degree will also be conferred after the banquet on Thursday for those who wish to participate.  Hiram Lodge and Naomi Chapter will be hosting a 70’s Party on Friday evening, more details to come.


Please govern yourselves accordingly as we prepare for Grand Session.  The Grand Lodge cabinet is working to plan an informative, productive and progressive Grand Session for the craft.  If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call me at 515-868-9740.
