Meet Iowa's Prince Hall Masons

"Our vision is to be a vibrant, thriving Prince Hall Grand Lodge; recognized for its diverse community, educational excellence, and commitment to the principles of Freemasonry."  We work to strengthen the bonds of fraternity, enhance Masonic knowledge, and ensure the prosperity and sustainability of Prince Hall Freemasonry across Iowa.

We are driven by our Guiding Principles of Masonic Education, Communication, Membership Engagement and Unity.  These are explained as such:

•           Education: A commitment to lifelong learning and mastery of Masonic principles.

​

•           Communication: To maintain open and effective communication amongst the members of our Jurisdiction.  As well as communication with the communities within our borders and with our sister Jurisdictions.

•           Membership Engagement: We have a focus to reclaim former members; healthy, effective retention of current members and use creative methods to excite the interest in perspective members.

​

•           Unity: To foster strong fraternal bonds and supportive networks for our members and their families.  We also work to promote Unity in the communities in which our members live through our various charitable efforts. 

 

We strive to reach Masonic excellence by building resilient leadership through educational programs that build character, practicing administrative prudence and encouraging progressive ideas within our membership. 

We understand that our strength is not in our size, rather than our combined forward movement towards our common goal.  One Jurisdiction, One Goal, One Voice!
