Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Brother’s of Mt. Olive Lodge #17 participated in Cedar Rapids’ Annual Juneteenth Celebration, setting up a booth at the event with various Masonic Artifacts, a Banner, some business cards and handing out free bottles of water.
As the oldest known celebration for the end of Slavery, Juneteenth is treated as a mandated program for the lodge itself, as it presents a rare opportunity to network with the local community and educate the dozens of spectators who stop by the booth inquiring about freemasonry.
